ALinks-Prefab
MiMEP Prefabrication
In view of the shortage of construction workers, tight construction schedules and safety hazards which may arise form limited space available during the construction of large scale electrical and mechanical (E&M) plants and installations of relevant equipment, many E&M contractors adopts an innovative construction method of “Design for Manufacture and Assembly” (DfMA) for carrying out “Multi-trade Integrated Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing” (MiMEP) works in their projects.
With the introduction of DfMA, the overall works efficiency, quality, site management and safety can be effectively enhanced.
To facilitate adoption of DfMA by E&M contractors, Fortune Links provides a full suite of services, namely ALinks-Prefab, which includes basic information collection, BIM modelling, modulization, module production, testing and on-site installation.

Basic Information Collection
Fortune Links can collect basic site information via
-
Tender drawings for new built projects
-
On-site precision measurement for existing buildings with device such as Leica DistoD510, Faro 3D laser scanner

On-site precision measurement with device e.g. Leica DistoD510, Faro 3D laser scanner
Modulization
After completion of BIM models, the digitized design can be divided into modules according to factors such as site conditions, transportation constraints, delivery schedule, workflow and so on. Next, the modular design can be transformed into detailed shop drawings ready for production.
